Knowledge to rule them all
Due to the nature of our work, it is highly recommended to be up to date with the latest trends and changes of the digital world. One of our main philosophies at neo is that we don’t hold onto this knowledge like Gollum does to the One Ring but try to share it with as many people as possible – either professionals or just curious ones. That’s why we make Trend Presentations for our clients every year, publish the Book of Digital Media Facts (DMTK) every year, and launch our digital presentation series soon. Tamás Tófalvy, a cultural research and communication specialist, who is an associate professor at BME invited us to give a live presentation to his students studying Digital Media after last year's virtual class.
Neo duo on the podium
Our agency was again represented by our media unit business leader, Judit Benkő, and our social media & integrated communication unit leader, Ferenc Novák. Based on the topics of DMTK, we talked about the biggest digital media and marketing events and trends of the past year, as well as, as usual, what to expect in the future. The focus, of course, was on the changes caused by the pandemic. How has the new consumer behavior affected the media market and social media? What sectors have strengthened or just weakened? What are the new ways to reach consumers? The students of Tamás got answers to such and similar questions, whom by the way were extremely enthusiastic and asked several questions about agency life, influencers, and further digital trends.
Said about us
Tamás was kind enough to evaluate his experience in a few sentences:
“There are professionals who see the latest trends and contexts very well and there are some who can tell them very well. Judit and Feri undoubtedly belong to the privileged intersection of the two groups, and I am grateful to them that they have come to us for the second time, to the Digital Media specialization of the BME Department of Communication and Media Studies, to share their knowledge with us. Also, the Book of Digital Media Facts, which already serves as an important resource for many grades now. They caught the attention of the students (and mine) with a direct and open style, yet with professional thoroughness and attention to detail. We look forward to seeing you again next year! "
Thanks for the nice words and the opportunity! We will be there next year again! :-)
