Bonafarm Group is the leading Hungarian holding in the food industry. It’s site renewed in the summer of 2013, supporting the ‘Bonafarm master’ campaign running on Mizo milk boxes, which goal was to demonstrate the main philosophy of the holding: „Caring from the farm to the table”. Being Bonafarm Group’s digital agency we have planned and developed the site, where we have combined parallax storytelling with animated infographics. Parallax scrolling is a new display mode for web designers, by using stereoscopic navigation and page scrolling you can create a spatial effect for the site. Users can feel as they were in a videogame or in a movie, so they could be involved deeper in to the story. Our Director of development, Mr. Róbert Gulyás tells us how important is to keep in mind, that this design can not be used for all web pages, even though it is very spectacular and trendy. If the web page’s basic concept does not fit in to this design, it is easy to obtain negative effects, with the longer loading time for example. Storytelling still gives a real meaning for parallax scrolling technique.
