Like last year, we again support people in need together with the nonprofit organization Mozdulj! Közhasznú Egyesület. We send our company aid to the Children’s Home of Somogyvár and to the families of Somogyjád living in deep poverty. To the families of Somogyjád, we carry sustainable food, clothes, children’s toys and other physical donations. Our colleagues can also join the company’s initiative.
Besides this, we also support the Children’s Home of Somogyvár with money, who are gathering donations for a Snoezelen room. As this is not widely known, we will now describe what this is. The Snoezelen room is a therapy room, with different therapeutic devices designed to elicit different stimuli. Such are various projections, light fibers, surfaces that are exciting to touch, or even particular sounds. The goal is to have these pleasant stimuli in the room, so the people within can relax and enjoy themselves.
The room is used in many ways, from simple relaxation to therapies. The Snoezelen room can be a useful aid in making the days better of both the disabled and the enabled, let them be children or adults. We believe that the Children’s Home of Somogyvár could also make good use of one such room, that’s why we support them, and our colleagues can also join this action of ours.
